All you need is scone mix and 9 x 15ml tablespoon (135ml) water and milk or beaten egg to glaze.. 1. Place the scone mix into a bowl and add the water. 2. Using a wooden spoon, mix together to form a dough. 3. Do not over mix the dough. 4. Using dusting flour as required, roll out to approximately 1cm thickness. 5. Using a 6cm (2 ½) cutter, cut out 8 scones and place on a baking tray. 6. Brush the top of the scones with milk or beaten egg. 7. Bake in the oven, preheated to 220°C (428 °F) or Fan 220°C (392°F) or Gas Mark 7 for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. (Time 10-12 minutes, Oven: 220, Fan: 200, Gas: Gas Mark 7)
