Falafel are commonly served in a pitta bread or flatbread and can be shaped as nuggets, burgers or patties. They can be topped with salads, pickled vegetables, hot sauce and drizzled with tahini-based sauces. Falafel balls may also be eaten alone as a snack or served as part of a mezze.
Fantastic for lunch in a wrap with salad leaves, tomatoes, red pepper strips and drizzled with Tahini. Serve as part of a Mezze platter or with a mixed salad and Al'Fez Tahini or Harissa Sauce.

1. Pour contents of pack into a bowl.
2. Add 170ml of cold water, mix well and leave to stand for 2-3 mins.
3. Spoon into golf-ball size nuggets and fry in hot oil for 20-30 secs or until golden br
own.
4. Drain off excess oil and serve warm

Falafel Serving Suggestions
Falafel is fantastic for lunch or as a snack. It is also great as an appetiser or part of a mezze platter.

For a healthy option, serve as part of a mixed salad and use Al'Fez houmous or harissa as a condiment.
Make an authentic Tahini Dressing for your Falafel
Mix 1/2 jar (135g) of Al'Fez Tahini with 1/4 cup of cold water, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 crushed garlic clove and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Garnish with flat leaf parsley and serve.
