Seven Seas Califig Syrup Of Figs is produced using natural ingredients and real fruit extracts to help maintain regularity for all the family.

Can I use Califig if I am pregnant?

No evidence of adverse effects have been reported in respect to use during pregnancy and lactation, but as with all drugs it should be treated with caution in the first trimester and a doctor or midwife should always be consulted prior to use.

Is Califig suitable for children?

Califig California Syrup of figs can be given to Children aged 1 years and above.

How long should I take Califig for?

Califig should provide relief from constipation relatively quickly so it shouldn't be necessary to take it for more than a few days. However if your symptoms persist you should consult a doctor.

Are there any circumstances in which I should not take Califig?

Califig should not be taken by people experiencing acute abdominal pain or those suffering from anorexia nervosa.

How to take Seven Seas Califig California Syrup of Figs: 

  • Adults: Take 15-30ml (one to two tablespoonfuls).
  • Children aged 6-15 years: Take 7.5-15ml (one and a half to three teaspoonfuls).
  • Children aged 3-6 years: Give 5-10ml (one to two teaspoonfuls).
  • Children aged 1-3 years: Give 2.5-5ml (half to one teaspoonful).
     

    Caution before taking Seven Seas Califig California Syrup of Figs: 

    • Do not exceed the stated dose. Although over dosage is unlikely, an excessive intake may result in diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
    • Consult your doctor if laxatives are needed every day, if there is persistent abdominal pain, no improvement or you notice any unwanted effects.
    • Do not take if you are experiencing severe abdominal pain, have sudden changes in bowel habits or are anorexic.
