To make a delicious Chilli Con Carne...
Fry one finely chopped onion in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until light brown. Add 1 1/2 lbs of mince meat and cook gently for 10 minutes. Add 2 teaspoons of East End Chilli Powder, a dessertspoon of East End garlic pur'ee , 1/2 a teaspoon of East End ground cumin and 1/2 a teaspoon of white pepper. Salt to taste and simmer for 15 minutes. Now add 8oz can of East End peeled tomatoes, a tablespoon of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Add 15oz can of East End dark kidney beans and simmer for a further 10 minutes. Serve on a bed of rice.
