Opis

Germolene Wound Care Cream is a gentle but effective treatment for minor abrasions, cuts, scratches, burns, bites and stings.

Description
Germolene Wound Care Cream contains chlorhexidine dihydrochloride which has a gentle antiseptic action to help prevent infection. The cream base helps to soften the skin and soothe irritation.
Usage
Wash your hands before and after using the cream. Before using the product for the first time, check that the tube seal is not broken. Break the tube seal by peeling from the tag. Thoroughly clean the affected area of skin with warm water (do not use soap). Apply once or several times daily as required. Wounds may be covered with adressing after treatment if desired. Replace the cap firmly after use.
Ingredients
Chlorhexidine Dihydrochloride 0.5% w/w. Also contains: Dexpanthenol. DL-Lactone. Cetyl Alcohol. Stearyl Alcohol. Soft Paraffin. Liquid Paraffin. Wool Fat (Lanolin). Macrogol Stearate. Purified Water.
 
Storage
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25°C.
Preparation and Usage

Uses: Germolene Wound Care Cream is a gentle but effective treatment for minor abrasions, cuts, scratches, burns, bites and stings. It has a gentle antiseptic action to help prevent infection.

Directions for Use: Thoroughly clean the affected area of skin with warm water and apply once or several times daily, as required. Wounds may be covered with a dressing after treatment if desired. Replace the cap firmly after use.

Cautions/Allergies
For external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. If some of the cream is swallowed accidentally, inform your GP immediately or contact your nearest Accident & Emergency Dept. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25¦C. Do not use Germolene Antiseptic Cream after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the end of the tube. If your condition does not improve, seek medical consultation. Avoid applying other antiseptics at the same time as Germolene Wound Care Cream as this may reduce its effectiveness. You may use the Germolene Wound Care Cream if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
