Twinings Earl Grey 100g Loose Tea Tin
Opis
The story goes that Earl Grey, the Georgian prime minister, was given cases of this tea by a Chinese Mandarin. He liked it so much he brought it home and asked Twinings to recreate it for him. And that's what we've been doing ever since.
Light, fragrant and with a distinctive bergamot flavour, our Earl Grey still has all the taste of the original. And we like to think it's still the best.
We believe that how you make your tea is equally as important as the tea you use, so here are our tips:
- Use freshly drawn cold water
- Use water at a “rolling boil” (100?C)
- For best results – use a teapot! Use 1 teaspoon of tea per person and 1 for the pot (or 1 spoon in a cup with a strainer)
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes (or to your taste) - as a rule: the smaller the leaf, the faster the brew
- This light, delicately citrus tea is best drunk without milk (a slice of lemon is great) or with just a touch of milk
… and for freshness every time, keep your tea somewhere cool, dark, dry and airtight!
Black tea is a natural source of antioxidants that may help protect the body from damage caused by free radicals
